I do realize the effects might be a bit too much but I have reasons! In the universe where this story takes place the spirits can't be just seen with eyes like some weird half transparent beings not even by shamans, it's more like just feeling them with some sort of sixth sense. The furthest it gets with vision is seeing light behaving a bit strangely, odd reflections and things like that. That and if the people who are able to sense spirits aren't trained, their head goes crazy from all of that and adds stuff like vertigo and blurred vision.

Which is what I tried to depict here. And it's hard, but the result is just so freaking shiny and that makes me happy. I also wanted to draw this even before I got the assignment to make all of these illustrations so that's even better, except I think the original plan was including some serious media mixing. I guess those are my plans for summer now.
