Name: Sera
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Height: 34"
Weight: 87lbs
Build: Slender, medium build, yet slightly underweight. She mostly moves with an elegant grace, like gliding on air, but can sometimes trip over the smallest leaf. Her fur is fairly long and silky. She may not be looking to impress anyone, but her coat is prone to get easily tangled, so she preferres to keep it well groomed. Her coat will grow to be very thick and fluffy every winter.
– She has a 'diamond' shaped marking on her chest. It's a pretty birthmark, but she's never wondered about it before.
–voice: (Gemma Chan)
Territory: Fellfang
Family: - (father/unknown)NPC
- (mother/ deceased)
- (sister/unknown)
Rank: Omega
Personality:
Contemplative | Spontaneous | Honest | Eloquent
At first glance, Sera may look like she doesn't have a thought in her head. Quite the contrary though, she is continuously lost in thought. Sometimes thinking too much of her past and what her future could mean or reveal. She's not prone to running her mouth but is found more often than not contemplating just about everything.
There are times when she doesn't think things through. If she believes something needs to be done or a truth needs to be expressed, she will do so impulsively. Even if it hurts others or herself, for that matter.
She sees no point in 'beating around the bush'. Whether that means lying to another or covering up unpleasant facts, she believes in the truth and that each individual deserves to hear it, no matter how painful it can be. Despite her straightforward manner, she rarely ever intends to hurt others, it is simply her lack of social conduct that gets the best of her.
Regardless of her social skills, she can be very persuasive when speaking with others. She'll do her utmost to get her point across, as well as appeal to your interests and it may just make you rethink things.
Ambitious | Skeptical
No matter what task she goes through, or goal she's convinced herself of, nothing will shake her determination to to find answers and solve problems. Completing anything means she's one step closer to finding her purpose.
After a long time of being on her own, she is very skeptical of others' actions and intentions. Many of those she's met on her journey have promised one thing, but never follow through, or end up doing something completely the opposite. It befuddles her to no end and makes her very hesitant for any future encounters.
Envious | Obsessive | frustrated
She sees how others go through their lives completely sure of themselves and their future. Not everyone, of course, but for the ones that do, she feels slightly envious of them, having everything figured out. She wants what those others have, the peace in knowing who they are and where they're going in life.
There are things about her past she can't quite understand. She's been trying to piece them together, but nothing seems to work or make any sense. It's like putting together a puzzle with only half the pieces or playing with only half a deck of cards. It frustrates her to no end and she becomes obsessed with trying to find an answer. This can sometimes last for several days or until her exhaustion gives in.
Minor Traits:
Anxious | Forgetful | Muddle-headed
Pre-Group History:
Wha.....what is that? That thing...in the distance..it looks familiar.
Pain. Immense pain was the first thing that registered as she slowly regained consciousness. Her limbs, her whole body ached. Cracking her eyes open, her black, blurry vision gradually cleared as the next thing that greeted her was bright, blinding white light everywhere. Her senses, slowly coming back, she noted it smelled crisp and clear, but it was so cold. With a shiver, she looked around, she seemed to be laying in a makeshift bed of this wet, cold, fluffy stuff.
How strange.
Even stranger, where was she? The last thing she cou.....that figure, in the distance. It was coming closer. She tried scrambling to her feet and away from it, but her limbs felt so stiff and her claws were unable to grip onto anything. The figure stopped, not too far from her, after seeing her clamber nervously. It spoke in a deep gravelly voice.
"....."
Who.....w...what was it talking about? It gestured to her, lowering its head. Me..? I....ow. She could barely speak herself, the pain in her head pounding away. Blinking roughly and squinting towards the figure, she realized it was a wolf standing in front of her. Who were they? Where did they come from? What did they want? The wolf in front of her spoke again, only this time, instead of addressing her, they gestured behind them. To….where?
Well, she wouldn't get any answers lying here in the cold. She nodded her head, reluctantly, and began to try and stand, when the other wolf, gingerly, came to stand beside her, providing their weight as some support. The smile she tried to offer only turned into a deep wince, as the pain shot through her legs again. With the other wolf's help, they steadily made their way out of the cold.

That had happened nearly two winters ago. That wolf had taken her in, back to their family, or what was left of it. She had learned that this group of wolves had suffered many hardships, including the recent destruction of their home. Their leader hadn't seen any reason to linger in that homeland of theirs any longer. They were kind enough to grant her healing and rest, but with their territory destroyed they would all need to move on if they were to survive.
The wolf who had found her offered her an invitation to join them, but despite the promise of security and family, she turned it down. She didn’t feel a sense of belonging with them. She felt there was something in the back of her mind that ached to be found elsewhere. So, even though the time had been short, they said their goodbyes and headed their separate ways.
_____________________________________________
Finding one's path on their own was difficult, very difficult. She didn't have much skill when it came to hunting, and trial & error seemed to be her only teacher. When the opportunity for an easy meal presented itself, she was more than willing to take advantage of it. There were times when she'd come across other traveling wolves or even small groups of them. She'd often do her best and humble her way into joining them, or even trail them for a time. It was always easier with less work to do, when facing the task of survival.
It worked out that way for quite some time, but no matter who she met or where she traveled, she never seemed to find what she was searching for. Every path she came across led to a dead end and she couldn't understand why.
The one thing she knew for certain, the wolf who had helped her all that time ago, could still be out there somewhere, and maybe they could help her again. When she lingered around the old territory back then, they had headed East. Perhaps if she traveled far enough she would be the one to find them this time.
