>__< the only piece of artwork i've done in over a week since my computer up and died. i'm using my dads computer again. which is full and slow and errors all the time ;__; BUT, atleast i have a little computer/internet access i supose.drawn in red pencil and greylead at work before the weekend. (i was bored) and then edited alittle in an old PS version.
Man, i haven't worked with pencil, or any traditional medium for that matter, to colour or shade in AGES. like....18 months? since i finished school??? i'd almost forgotten how >~< it was kinda hard lawl. but it was also kind of....liberating? XD i don't know. but i feel pretty good about it. It has mistakes i wish i could fix easily with PS or something. But i'm still pretty happy with it besides. plus it's kinda fun to try different things
and it wasn't particularly intentional, since i had practically no idea what i was trying to draw until half way through. but this pretty much ended up reflecting the feelings in my fanfic. XD well except that in my fic they are 20-21 and look nothing like this. but you get what i mean P: *goes to write some*

For someone who hasnt drawn traditionally in a while, this is pretty damn good. Especially their faces. I 
Their is something not quite right about Kyles torso( too long?) but i am going to pass that off against the general awesomeness of the whole picture

No offense, but it does kinda show that you haven't used traditional media in a while. XD But this piece is still amazing! I love the fact that it's b&w, aside from the petals. Very beautiful. Hopefully we'll see some more traditional stuff from you soon? C:

You really have a neat way of drawing faces. Very unique.
Their bodies though.. especially Kyles, seem to be off. The proportions aren't matching up. For one thing. Kyle's torso is too long..and his arms are a bit too short. The ends of your fingers normally reach about halfway to your knee, whereas you have Kyles reaching to the end of his crotch. Also, I personally feel that your pictures would feel more balanced if you added more curve and fold to their bodies. You have so much detail and effort put into their faces and hair... and it pays off so much, I think that they'd really look great if you did the same thing with their clothes.
Here are some pictures that I think show good man proportions and clothing wrinkles.

I hope that these show some shoulder and arm vs. torso proportions. Its SO hard to get it to look right... I always end up drawing one should slouching down so far that it looks like its growing out of a persons side. bleh.
Um, yeah. I hope this helps a little. Just trying to point out some stuff that might make your art even better than it is.

XD wow. thanks for taking the time to write all that. and yeah, i pretty much hate kyles body in this myself. i have always realised that i need to work more on the bodies and clothing intead of the faces, especially the clothing. infact a few weeks ago i made a promise with *SiegeRedwolf that i would put all my effort into getting the clothing look right from now on, studying photo refs for folds and stuff. and i am so carrying that out. or i plan to once i get my own computer back from the repair shop P: hahahaha. it's so depressing without my computer :C
but frankly with this one i wasn't really bothered with much of it at all. XDD haha. plus i was at work behind the counter so i didn't exactly have any of my refs at hand D: i didn't even have any customers to try and perve refs off. i was so bored. late night shifts suck.
but thanks so much for the crit and links and stuff. i definately know what you mean. i am just too lazy for my own good half the time. XD i must try and get out of that habit some day.

I can totally understand being a bit lazy on a piece and only drawing what you like. I for one cut off arms entirely when I doodle half of the time o_0

And of course, when I say halfway to the knee, I actually mean about 1/4 down the way. Also bellybuttons are a little lower than where your elbow sits when your arm is relaxed...I use this to help me when I'm attaching arms.
