Description
I worked traditionally about 2 days. But then the paper was too big for the scanner. So I ended up cleaning this up for 2 hours from a photo. I added the petals and the white in post. I have to say I like the original traditional better because the colors on Small Lady's eyes came out better and the picture is much more vivid in person.

The original of this picture was done in 2001? Something like that. I used color drawing ink for that one. It was first posted on sailormoon.org

The redo of this pic used watercolor brushes. <3 Which came from a Japanese supply store online. Cost me 80 dollars to buy. I'm in absolute love with them. Less mess and pretty colors.

I also used a calligraphy brush for Vesta's hair. And Staedtler Fineliners. For the eyes I used Winston drawing ink with Tachigawa drawing nibs.

I might revise this one and draw the petals by hand and do the white myself. But my desk is messy and I don't feel like using photomerge right now...

Note to those who use a camera rather than a scanner... using curves is a godsend to correct your colors!
