I used Photoshop and Manga Studio EX.
The cherry wood pattern was made by me. The tatami mat I picked off of a stock photo and made into a pattern and warped with vanishing point.
Rei is always standing, sweeping or standing in front of the fire, but considering her past, I think she has her sad side she hides from others.
