Description
Original character, by the name of Flik.This picture is almost three months old now; I thought I'd never see it again because my computer suffered from a very nasty virus attack and my artwork folder got shafted. (Seriously, it was painful. I cried.) TwT
But lo and behold - I found a way to salvage my favourite little Elf~!
I'm very glad, because she took a veeery long time to draw! e__o;;;
I was intending to include a full-colour background, but honestly, at this point I'm just happy to have her back.

ooh, pretty picture~ i likey lots. This is one of the bestest that you've put here in a long time (not a film or book chara in site *breaths sight of relief* ). I love the eyes~ they seem so much deeper than the rest of the picture which really accentuates them *nods knowingly*. and the hair is sweet and... that had better not be a WILD sunflower that she has stolen from the wild *threatening gesture* i will be mad and the wrath of the great earth mother shall ensue if it is *waves fist*... but still prettily drawn!!

Well.. she grew up in the wild, so perhaps it is.
She is an Elf after all (*cough* if you remember all that stuff about her from ages ago then shhh~! ..it's plot-related spoiler stuffs)
Let's just say she grew it herself. Plus, a sunflower garden just suits her.

I'm really very fussy about naming my characters, so I'm glad you think her name suits her.
I should watch A Bug's Life again sometime.. havn't seen it in years and I totally forgot there was a character called Flik.

There were a few half-coloured pictures and things; this was the one I was most worried about. But now I saved her, so it's all good.

i havn't drawn anything this neat in a long while (it was originally for a school project on graphic design, so I took a lot of care with it).
Strangely, those oekaki BBS things are a really good way to practice with a tablet! After drawing with them, it seems easier to redraw and erase lines.
