Real nice looking character you got here.

For a critique, thing that bugs me are the eyebrows. Shouldn't the skin bend from the eyeholes to forehead at where the eyebrow hairs are. Here the hairs are above the place where the skin bends. Not bad but it seems a bit weird after some looking. Another thing would be the skin. If you did gamma correction it still shines a bit much to my liking. But that's only my personal opinion. A bit more post processing and camera effects would fit nicely here and something as simple gradient backround gives the picture a bit more feel. These are only my opinions again.

You did use quite some hairs on the head, I'm guessing something like one million. It looks really nice now. Doesn't need more and I'd perhaps even lower the amount a bit.

But yeah. It's one of the coolest Blender models I've seen for a while now. Keep it up.

Nice. I like the design. I'm a fan of over sized gloves and boots and stuff. Neat!

I used Blender 2.49B for everything in this image. Outside of that I use mechanical pencil and paper

Sweet! I just got into 3D, and I was looking for some good tutorials. Do you know of any? They don't just have to be for Blender, either. I'm learning Blender, ZBrush and C4D at the moment...

The best tutorial site I know of for Blender would be www . blender cookie . com As far as learning Zbrush goes, I find that anatomical knowledge is more useful then anything else. CGTalk is a must for any 3D artist. great place to post your work and get feedback. Never sacrifice Topology on a mesh, that's what separates a Pro model from an Amateur one. And lastly, keeping up with your drawing ability is also very useful. This industry likes to see artists that can draw and model. Other then that, just stay dedicated and work hard. Best of luck to you
