Now this makes more sense than Ruby and Weiss.
They know each other better than anyone, so their drift would be a lot smoother.

hmm... yeah that could work. but I foresee it as more like Weiss and Blake have to learn to work together, while Pyrrha drifts with Jaune. just seems to me more sense in my eyes.

Jaune and Pyrrha both use swords and shields, so their combat styles have similarities.
There is one other problem with the idea of Blake and Weiss working together. Drifting involves two minds merging as one, and I'm willing to bet there is a lot of stuff they want to keep from each other. As we all know, Blake doesn't open up easily and Weiss has a tendency to butt heads with a lot of people.
I don't think you can just force a synchronicity, it has to be natural.
While we're on the subject of pairings, Ren and Nora would be hilarious.

how would you feel about Blake having a history with Adam, who was killed while they were drifted? the whole experience would add a layer of vulnerability to her that makes her seemingly shy.

Blake and Adam would work well together, especially given she was his apprentice.
I don't know what to make of the idea of Adam being killed while they were drifted. He hasn't died on the show yet so I can't determine how it would affect Blake.

She's distant because she's a Faunus surrounded by humans and she's a former criminal. It's understandable for her to feel separate from others, but she's gradually opened herself up to her teammates.
I know what it's like to feel different from others, so I can relate to what Blake does.
