This was a project I was recently commissioned to paint - Cadence, a well built military veteran, fierce, regal and temperamental.
A master elementalist who, in this picture, is focusing on the Fire element although she has the skill to manipulate other elements such as Earth, Air and Water.
The idea was to have her conjuring her powers with glowing fiery eyes, and in one hand her fire dagger.
It's a dynamic pose, as she conjures the fire and prepares her attack.
I made the background based on references provided by the client, and textured the buildings using a seamless brick texture that I made myself a while ago.
It was a pleasure working on this project and I learned a lot. Really happy with how the fire effects turned out! My client was too very pleased with the result.
