Alfred is the rock of the Batfamily so here's a little tribute to him.... And I'm sure Jason was a dream to raise (...) Of course he didn't hate Alfred (that's impossible) but he was just really jumpy from living on the streets.

Jason was the nicest of the Robins. He liked classic literature and education. Writers later added darker and edgier things in because they missed the point of his fall from grace as the Red Hood and also didn't understand his character. His rage was a deep moral indignity that bad people shouldn't get away with bad things.
Bruce is similar but has his rule to hold him back (also he was never beaten and killed by the Joker and brainwashed by Talia). Bruce almost killed the Joker after Jason died (Dick stopped him), again after Bruce thought he murdered Tommy Elliot (James Gordon stopped him) and recently after he was led to believe Joker forced his Bat family to eat their own faces (They hadn't so he didn't). He almost killed Black Mask after what he did to Stephanie Brown (Barbara Gordon stopped him).Β
Jason hasn't been in character for a long time, ironically New 52 has actually got him back in character. No wonder some people thought the crazed maniac who shot Damian in the spine was the Jason of another dimension.

I don't disagree with you - I just think it would be quite a change for a young boy to go from living on the streets where people WILL hurt him if he loses control - to living in a manor with people who only want to help him. He must have been a bit jumpy.
