second commission for *mezcase commissioned by her girlfriend ~Ai-kun .this time it's her and ai :3.
i must've pulled 40+ hours on this picture, from start to finish. dept. of trufax: in the time it took me to colour this i watched the entire first season of top chef and dexter.
(i also am a retard and did not see that OMG DEX HAS A BROTHER AND IT'S ____! thing coming. yes. even when he was staring dex right in the face. i still didn't get it until he said it.)
picture's title is from "let it rain" by ok go. despite that being my favourite ok go song and wanting to save the title for a picture for myself; i had to give it up because the song fit the picture.
used this tutorial for the rain.

It came out beautifully! o: The shading is very nice, so is the rain effect. Nice to see things from a different angle. I don't have the patience to do anything like this. Probably why I've stuck to real media and pixels all these years. I'm sure they'll enjoy it. :B
