I've been in such a mushy mood lately, it's a little ridiculous l3
This originally started as one of my daily sketches, but then it started to grow
Then I went.. "Ah forget studying! I wanna colour something!!"Has to do with my project with Tak and Sawshus (yes, I know I've probably spelled his name a few different ways by now) lD
There are a few more characters, but I'm still figuiring out back stories, personality, etc, so description will come later -w-

SINCE you commented on some of my pieces, I really wanted to take the time to comment on the piece that I saw which made me say, "Jeez, I should watch this person," which is this one, haha.
First thing that really drew me in was the composition. It has a great flow to it and your eyes follow all the characters over the image. Plus it just looks SO dern cool :'D
The character designs and their expressions are just LOVE. I'm especially drawn to the girl who's crying with the hearts on her sleeves- she's particularly interesting and, just by looking at her in this picture, I'd really love to know more about her. I'd also like to know more about the really angry dude behind her with the gun. I'm just generally really intrigued! Such a cool array of character designs, I just want to know more!
Also, I LOOOOVE the rough pencil shading with the rust texture layed on it. Oh my goodness, it looks so good! It adds a lot of depth to the image and really makes it, and all the characters, stand out.
Just a really awesome job- I love looking at this image.. it's just SO cool. :'] Looks like it could be a movie poster for some EPIC film or something. Or comic cover, for that matter!

Yeah, I might as well give it a try! The only thing is I need to work on backgrounds, because texures tend to look better on a full coloured piece. "orz

Thanks! X3 Most of it (time wise) yes, the main bulk of it was done with a mechanical pencil
A rust texture (from a photo I took) was added on top, and then the colours were added on top of the texture.

I really love the way you color things, it always gives a "warm" vibe. Haha here we go with vibes again xD
And i also really like your style of drawing your charecters, i've never seen this style before. So i'm guessing its origional to you?

Do you mean my colouring style? Or my drawing style? For my colouring style yes, it's pretty different

Either style is great in my opinion, both have their good qualitys. As for coloring, do you use actual materials for that or do you use a coloring software on your computer? (just curious. I've wanted to start drawing but numerous things keep holding me back. My lack of ability for one, haha

Haha I used photoshop for colouring and added a rust texture from a photo I took (which ended being the bulk of the colour)
Maybe I should just make a tutorial or something on how I coloured this
