По первой еще можно узнать, какой режим наложения слоя с цветом при покраске ч/б основы?

да там много слоёв - солор, оверлей и другие. красить ч-б очень нудное занятие, только для ночных картинок и годится. сейчас есть более продвинутый способ - рисовать ч-б близкое к окклюжн (не разбирая по тону, будто всё белого цвета), а потом красить хард лайтом. тогда цвета поживее. хотя по мне проще сначала сделать светные заливки, а потом мультиплаем тени, результат тот же, а процесс нагляднее.

Хмм, про второй способ (окклюжн) вообще не слыхала. А есть где-нибудь пример пошаговый, чтоб хоть посмотреть что за штука?
Согласна, что по цветам заливать приятнее, чем красить по ч/б. А ты тени и свет, получается, тоже на других слоях делаешь?

Посмотри в гугл картинках occlusion coloring, там много.
У меня всяко бывает, по настроению. зависит от того, что за работа намечается, иногда хочется просто поживописить сразу сходу... как здесь ) но удобнее всего сначала цвета, сверху слой оклюжн и падающих теней мультиплаем, а потом уже поверх живописить.

This is such a cool painting! I've not seen anything quite like it before. At first glance one may assume this is a typical fantasy princess or maiden, but on closer inspection one can tell she is anything but typical... rather, she is exceptional, being more of a unicorn bunny girl kind of a character, which is something very refreshing and presented well. The costume is very cute, very pretty, and goes perfectly with the lady wearing it. The white hair was a great choice for her too, since it brings out her fantastic nature quite nicely and gives her just a tiny hint of etherealness. The bitten carrot was quite witty to add, and adds to the whole not-quite-human presentation. I like how, even though she is of a fantasy race other than human she is still presented as being beautiful and not inhuman looking. Very inspired choice, that! Lastly, the setting is spectacular. I love the domed tower in the background, the slender spires off to the side, and the hints of abundant nature mixed in between. All in all, everything about this painting is beautiful! And worthy of being faved, for certain.

The details are awesome and well rendered, only thing that I find strange is that the background seems to be tilted slightly to the right.

Great piece. Your backgrounds are good for giving context and not mood but not detracting from the focus. Art directors appreciate that. Many artists can paint characters or environments, but not both in a scene with mood and lighting in harmony. How did you learn that?

A unicorn rabbit. A rabbicorn. A beautiful rabbicorn. Seriously, it looks like a painting - the colors are simply amazing. And look at her poofy sleeves and shorts - they look amazing! Everything is so detailed and fantasy and happy~
