I just rewatched Trigun this week; it used to be one of my favorite animes when I was in middle school. I even had like, those awesome figurines of Vash and Wolfwood. I used to have to buy the DVDs as they came out to watch it, and somewhere after the third or fourth volume, I went broke, and so I never actually finished Trigun back then. So this was my first time watching it through to to end! Apparently, there's a movie now, too?! Guess I know what I'll be watching tomorrow night!

Anyway, here's a fast fanart of none other than Vash the Stampede! I wanted it to have that rough, painter-ly feel to it (like Ashley Wood's work), but I haven't quite figured that out yet. Oh well! I'm pretty happy with the way this came out, especially considering it only took me a short while from start to finish! (Well, "short" for me is like 15-20 hours. Shut up! /sob!) It looks preeeetty much like what I had pictured in my head, so I'll call it a win!

(I feel like I enjoy back lighting too much. I feel like almost everything I've been drawing is backlit. NO REGRETS!!)
