Gaians usually sleep in groups with the youngest/weakest sleep in the middle. Females/ older young sleep around them, with the older males/ fathers/ alphas sleeping on the outside. those on the outside usually sleep with one eye open as any noise out of the white noise of their environment is taken as a possible threat. while yes, they could sleep in trees, (loners are more likely to until they find themselves other partners/ troop-mates)
