Do me the favor and READ THIS, pleaseWhen you are in a fandom sooner or later you will create a character of your own for it. Only trouble in a fandom is: OCs are worth nothing.
No matter how good their background story is developed, he/she always will get the "Mary Sue"-stamp right in the face from others. No matter how you change the look from the original, you will find it unappreaciated compared to a fanart that comes a dime a dozen.
I am not implying that fanarts are bad. I like them a lot (especially TF2 fanart), but I want to say that there are also OCs out there, who are not created with the SFM or Garry's Mod. OCs who are created with a damn lot of heart blood, who were developed over months (maybe even years) and still are doomed to go down against the originals.
So please remember, that sometimes even OCs deserve a little bit of appreciation.

Well, here's something for all the haters. ALL canon characters, from Mario to all character's whom have been, and ever will be made are, without exception, someone's OCs. Deny it all you wish, it won't make it any less true, whether a group effort, or the work of one person, all canon characters were someone's original characters.

Best way to avoid the hate is to not acknowledge it. You made a character for a fandom so YOU can play around in it and have fun, not anybody else. So have fun and go wild

Ich weis zwar nicht was TF2 oder der Gleich ist, aber ich stimm dir zu.
Öfters gafallen mir viel mehr die OC.

TF2 ist die Abkürzung für Team Fortress 2 (ein Spiel, das ich gerne spiele).
Und glaub mir, die Community um das Spiel herum ist schweinegroß. Da geht jede Art von OC unter (sei es nun eine echte Mary-Sue oder echte OCs).
Also dachte ich mir, ich mach mal einen kleinen Wach-Rüttler für alle OC Besitzer und (hoffentlich) auch für die Vertreter der Fanart Ecken, dass es auch noch andere Sachen gibt außer Fanart.
OCs sind was Schönes. Es zeigt, dass sich jemand gedanken macht, wie ein Charakter - der nicht in dem Spiel/der Serie mitwirkt - aussehen könnte.
Und das ist Kreativität hoch 5

Gegen Community ist man immer machtlos, leider.
Aber mach dich wegen diesen Leuten nicht verrückt.
Meine Mutter pflegt zu sagen: wenn es den Gegenüber nicht gefällt, soll er doch die Bananen an den Bäumen gerade biegen.

Verrückt machen die mich nicht. Es ist nur schade, dass viele gute OCs einfach untergehen, weil sie nicht richtig gepusht/gesehen werden.
Das wollte ich gern ändern. Ein Mini Aufschrei sozusagen
