Fourth day of Inktober with today's theme being "spell"
For this day I wanted to draw a magician character, and the villain ZigZag from the Richards Williams film, The Thief and the Cobbler came to mind, since he is a magician and an evil sorcerer too~

I love this dude... for his charisma, his way of talking only in rhyme, and the fact he's voiced by Vincent Price! (I find his voice very charming~ )
(also the worl neeeeeds more fanart of this guy X333)

I've added some digital touches for this piece too, since one I sadly didn't have any time to find green markers for his "magic", and two I've had some ink smeared on his hat thing (that made me triggerrreeddd :''D aaaa) so I just went ahead and finished it digitally and added the three golden balls as well as his magic powers

Also the Thief and the Cobbler is a very underrated gem with gorgeous animation and an interesting history behind it too

The recobbled cut is the closest to the original movie, which was sadly never finished, just search "recobbled" on YouTube and you'll find a playlist of it, I highly recommend it for animation nerds like myself <3
