Oh PLEASE let it true...My apologies for the massive number of fanarts lately. Still be testing out lots of different drawing styles and techniques etc. and for some reason I have an easier time with them while illustrating characters I didn't make. I'm still workin' hard though.
I don't like the shading on his face, and the shine on his Buster could've turned out better. That and hopefully people will get the whole deal with the shape of his shadow. Ah well.

Great image, very dark and moody, your technique allows the viewer to sense the desperate emotion.

Mega Man 9, I too pray for this, all signs point to yes though, Aussie's are strict with their games demanding them to be shown quite early so they can give proper ratings on them. I think a couple of games have been banned in Australia including Manhunt and one of the GTA's I believe... in anycase it almost seems to perfectly coincide with nostalgic rebirths and the "secret" announcement for E3. Let us pray for some good ol classic buster shooting.

Matt: I've been hearing about the rumors of Megaman 9 for a while now. There have also been rumors about a possible Megaman X9 and Megaman Legends 3. I don't know if these rumors are true or not, but I hope they are. Anyways, nice job on the perspective.

well... i like it; sure, the buster smoke could look better, but the rest of the character is excelent... you should do more of those on your flashes, i mean, if you want '^^

Well it's good that they may be deciding to close that story up so that it will tie into the X series hopefully. I hope they can do the same with the X series as well.
On the note with your drawing, besides what others said like UCII and EgoRaptor, I think the buster he's holding up came out a slightly bit bigger than the rest of his body. Still it looks really great man.

Ugh, should've known that. The reference I used was this really nice shot of classic Mega from the comic where they gave him green eyes, but that crossed my mind. (EXE has green eyes too, I believe)

Did you ink the black shadows as part of the lineart? It looks nice. It helps him look a bit more dynamic.
Though in some parts it seems to contradict the lightsource being behind him, you could say there's a dimmer secondary light source in front of him as well, however, the dark blacks would mostly be caused by the sun behind him, so the placement of them needs to be done carefully.

I thought about actually inking those darker parts on the paper but my microns're startin' to blow ass all of a sudden so I did it digitally. Yeah I figured I was gonna run into some problems with the light source...
