A promotional poster of the major TOME Season 2 characters I've been wanting to illustrate for a while. The idea for Alpha and the gang on one side and the Netkings on the opposite side was in mind from the beginning, but Zetto and Kizuna's profiles on the side came later. The artwork also turned out to work well for some of the episode preview images.Major thanks to for the amazing background artwork on the ;sanctuary region as well as Webmaster's room.

He realized that a lot of Kirb and Zetto's behaviors were suspiciously similar, such as both of their uses of the phrases "Well, it's about time" and "You need to quit screwing around and show me the real deal". Also, Zetto was looking at Kirb's character model when he referred to "His biggest mistake".

It took me only a little while to get used to the new monochromatic colors for the heroes, but I think it now works quite nicely. I don't think any other web cartoon has been crafted with so much passion and unbridled awesome, and I look forward to the show growing even more!

Kirb, i don't want to sound like an ass, but why does it feel the quality from season 1 has dropped in season 2? Is it an issue of budget, did one of the groups supporting the show drop? All in all i still love the show and will continue to follow it. But i would prefer you take your time to ensure its quality. Unless the new feel of the show is desired of the mix of new and old tome then i do greatly apologize.Β

I like the new designs a lot but I don't really like the new color schemes (for Alpha and the gang, I mean). They're too monocolor and they just don't do the characters justice. Alpha and Flamey and Kirb's skin colors just look too....too much. We're familiar with Alpha and Flamey's skin colors being more apricot-ish and Kirb's skin being grey (or gray; although I'm American I still use the English spelling of it because reasons). And we're all familiar with GC's buttons being like those of a video game controller, the red and the blue and the grey. Nylocke's color isn't that bad or different, but something about it is still off and makes me slightly uncomfortable. The ONLY thing that I think is good about these monocolor color schemes is that it gives the five of them a stronger association with that color which can be done so much with, such as for colors in fanart and symbolism and things like that. But still.....the look of them is just.....meh.
It's probably too late to change them back to what they were or to something similar to the old designs because you've already put out episodes of Season 2 and are in the process of making the other episodes of Season 2, but maybe for Season 3 you could give them some of the original colorings back? It's not the actual design that myself and many others don't like, but rather it's the colors that put me (and the rest of us) off. So pleeeeeasssseee for Season 3 give them their old colors back? We miss those color schemes a lot, if you haven't already noticed.Β

By instinct I got really surprised at the new color schemes. In the first few seconds, that I saw the 1st episode that introduced these new designs (even with TTA knowledge but without seeing promotial artwork) I tought they were heroes pretending to be them, or some sort of ideal heroes that one of the characters were having a dream with. I think the character that suffers most is Flamegirl. She really didn't look like the same character because her (sorry to say this) bitchy attitude reached a new level with her new looks. Yea, it's portraying her more as a distinct woman, but I can't feel she has empanthy. I always remember her upset, or angry.
About the other characters they are different but aren't so bad. There's nothing wrong with gamecrazed, being a blob, Kirbopher and Nylocke are fine and I'm still getting used to Alpha because I always remembered his clothes blue, but his personality still feels the same.
There is no problem with this change, but some fans might take this the wrong way or need more time getting used to. I hope this color scheme makes the animation be easier or something.
