Our Unlikely Hero: Ed (Ed, Edd'n Eddy)- Our loveable unhygienic oaf was enjoying his day when suddenly, a giant projection forewarned him about a terrifying dragon and his horrific demon army! With the prospect of saving the world, Space Warrior Ed set off on his grand adventure! What dangers, overusage of memes, and luxuries await on his journey?

Our Hero's Fair Maiden: Sakaki (Azumanga Daioh)- A shy demure girl with an unintentional intimidating aura to those unfamiliar with her. Possessing a love for animals and especially her pet Iriomote Cat, Maya, she has certainly endeared herself to Space Warrior Ed. Will she return his feelings? Stay tuned for more!

The Horrific Villain: Ridley (Metroid)- The sadistic arch-nemesis of Samus Aran, known by his peers as the "Cunning God Of Death", wound up in Hell after his supposed final end. Unfortunately to everybody not named Ridley, he established himself as top dog of Hell and even somehow found a way to break free of his afterlife, taking his newfound demon army with him. His goal? Slaughter, Murder, Rape, Pillage, Destruction, and every other unpleasant thing you can think of. Who can ever hope to stop this monster's rampage?

Our Hero's Sidekick: Fang (PRIMAL)- Because every hero needs their trusty steed, our mother T-Rex found herself whisked away to our time where she will have to accompany Ed and Sakaki on their journey to stop the evil Ridley. Well, whatever gets her to reunite with her children faster.

The Traitorous Quisling: Marx (Kirby Super Star)- Far across the galaxy, Marx; everybody's favorite demonic jester, found out what was happening and decided to tag along with our heroes on their journey. But wait a moment, it seems like Marx has his own agenda.....

The Villain's Partner: M. Bison (Street Fighter)- The arrogant former leader of Shadaloo was among those burning away in Hell when Ridley arrived and took over. During his getaway, Bison decided to tag along and participate in Ridley's little game of kill everything, seeing it as a prime opportunity to reforge his empire and take over the world.

The (Totally) Trustworthy Mentor: Chef Saltbaker (Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course)- Also known as the best baker in all of the land, Chef Saltbaker has made an offer to help our heroes on their journey in exchange for gathering ingredients for a recipe. Whatever this recipe is, it sure must be good! Surely nothing bad will come out of this, right?

The Former Aggressor: The Snatcher (A Hat In Time)- During our heroes' travels, they fall victim to one of Snatcher's traps. Now, Ed and Sakaki are bound to the evil ghost to perform such horrific tasks like cleaning the Subcon Well and handing out mail to the local inhabitants (oh the horror!)! At some point, the Snatcher decides the two of them have outlived their usefulness, but then.....

The Villain's Henchmen: The Demon Army (DOOM)- Yes, those demons. For how horrific they are, turns out there was an alien dragon that was revealed to be even more vile, twisted, and cruel than all of them, and so here we are! Now all of demonkind bow to the Cunning God Of Death, especially since he had unleashed the horde on the mortal world.

The First Blood: Cool Cat- Hey, that dragon and his demons are a bunch of bullies! Oh, how Cool Cat hates bullies! He's gonna go and teach them a lesson in-....and there's blood, guts, and foul-smelling costume parts everywhere. Just great.
