History: Keonaona lived on the island of Lanai till she was about 4 years old. Where which, she and her mother joined who she thought to be her father, in New York. Life went on simply, Nao started school and rather enjoyed learning so much so she began learning things on her own. For a few years, life was very simple. Becoming very independent due to both parents constantly working, until her mother fell pregnant with twins. Nao thought her mother would be around more often thanks to the babies but her mother only became busier and as soon as the twins were old enough for daycare. She vanished from Nao's day to day life.

When Nao was about 9, she found herself becoming her younger siblings dependant. She got everyone up in the morning made breakfast & lunch for everyone including her parents. Get her siblings to daycare and then go to school herself. When she got off school she had no time for herself. She would go pick up her siblings, get home do morning dishes clean the house do laundry and then begin dinner. By the time she finished everything and got to her own room she was so tired she would barely get any of her homework done.

It when on like this till she turned 11 when suddenly a knock came to their door one late afternoon. Nao answered the door surprised at the gentleman who stood there staring at her. It took a moment when her mother suddenly turn the corner and saw the man. Something clicked in Nao that this was her father. Her mother was becoming frantic at seeing the reconignze on her daughter's face so the man requested meeting for lunch the next day.

When Nao met him there, he asked her what she thought of her life at the moment. She told him honestly what happened on a daily basis. At that point, he gave her a form allowing her the choice to live with him and at any point could return to her mother. Thinking over for the night, she wish to give it a shot.
