Hey...I just thought that, now that Shintarou's part of the Mekakushi-dan...
Shintarou knew Ayano. And, in Toumei Answer, Shintarou was the last person Ayano saw before she committed suicide.
Isn't Shintarou...somehow responsible for Ayano's death? In Lost Time Memory, he acted really mean to her in the beginning, and throughout the whole song, he wanted to reverse time to stop Ayano from killing herself.
What if Kido, Kano and Seto found out that Shintarou knew Ayano? And they found out that he was the last person she saw before she died?
How would they react? Would they get angry at him?
...Haha, sorry. I'm asking a lot of questions here. But, really Shintarou COULD be the one responsible for Ayano's death.

not exactly, he definitely thinks he's responsible though
but at the same time i don't think ayano is necessarily "dead" like
she "died" at the time Azami sent him back to see her and that's when we see her with red eyes, so knowing that she'd have to be in a near-death situation to get her eye power to save everyone else's futures, she jumps off the building, presumably killing herself. I wonder what her eye power is though!! I think she tells Shintarou that she's dead because she thinks she has to save everyone herself, and it's really admirable and really sad
but anyway i think that the orphan gang thinks they're responsible for her death somehow too, part of the trauma and stuff

nobody is completely sure whther she commited suicide, or went to some portal, Azami'a world, or something like that to get her powers. Since it wasn't clear in the song and hasn't been proven yet what happened.

I think she did get the eye power, but somehow knew that shintaro was the key to save them all so inead of keeping the eye power herself, she passed it on to shintaro, like how shion passed her eye power to mary to give her a second chance at life.

when mary went outside she was attacked by a few people and her mother came outside to defend her, but they were both beaten to death. medusa saw this and passed her powers to shion but shion wanted to give mary a second chance at life, so she passed them on to mary.
after that the heat haze went crazy and started giving powers out to those who died on august 15.
