So, it's pride month now.
I am a transgender man. I didn't want to advertise it, because I never thought it was important information. I don't think that's what defines me as a person.
But now, in my country, the state wants to forbid me to do what brings me inner harmony with myself and peace. Transgender people will not be able to change documents, will not be able to receive medical care, including hormone therapy and surgery. And I'm scared. I have come a long way, and now they want to take it away from me. They want to take away from me who I am, who I have always been and always will be.
And I decided to stop being silent. I exist, I am a person, I am a citizen, and I have the right to a full and happy life, like all people
