Well since I got the hang of submitting again I might as well post another one.
This is more like a work in progress. I intent to return to this place during fall colours and try my luck again. For the moment this will have to do.
This is a three vertical shot panorama shot with the Nikkor 24 PC-E lens. It is very easy to make panoramas with this lens.
As you can tell it is a composite of two shots (two panoramas). One was taken at night for the stars and milky way at high ISO and the second was taken many hours later at dawn to capture the alpenglow of the peaks.
Location: Greece, Tymfi mountain in Epirus.

well since this is a blend of two shots taken a good 8 hours apart it is impossible to see the exact same thing in person but take away the night sky and you can watch the peaks light up every dawn
