Got some good critique from Richard Merk on "Decloaking", so this is my second shot at it!

Basically I need to think of the graphic as a visual means of telling a story and the different artistic considerations as being ways of influencing the audience. Things like composition, lighting and the degree of photorealism against artistic license taken, all influence how the viewer "sees" the story you are trying to tell, the mood they take away from it. Three artists might do the same scene in three different ways and the viewer might come away from each with a different feeling - drama, romance, pathos, optimism...
