Hi, kirokaze . I'm so excited for you pixel art, and this is one of my favorite. I would like your permission to take this art and I draw it with my style. I'm not a professional, but I really wanna try to re-draw it.

This is great! I love the color palette, the story it tells, etc. One thing that stood out was the foreground character having no animation at all.
At bare minimum I would suggest making the reins hang down, they look frozen in the air as it is. If you were to animate one thing I would suggest animation the reins, is would be easy and go a long way.
If you animated a second thing, I would make the horses mane near his head flutter a little in the wind. One last thing could be to make the horses eye blink.
You may have intentionally left the fore character animated to convey a sense of frozen shock, Im not sure. If that's the case, I think it works.

not really, just the regular pixel art basic tutorials you find in google.

Oh I absolutely love this one, and how it tells a story without any text^^
How the "wild boy" is blocking the road with his torn cloak and his sword somehow insecure raised in front of him, and the long haired person does not even seem to care much about this at all. Then there is the army in the background that either leaves or gets closer and both ways would prove to be interesting here.
Oh and the Rain makes it way more dramatic some how, as well as this dark forest with its big and sun blocking trees.
So many details you managed to fit into these limited amount of pixels, its quite impressive^^

This has a great sense of atmosphere!
The background and slightly lighter trees as they get further away creates great depth. A great pixel art piece to study and learn from. Awesome as always
