Description
When pure angels desire blood lust and power, they become a type of fallen angel known as the blood angel. These angels live off of blood and poison and are cursed to live forever with pain (The pain is described as constant headaches, stomachaches, etc) . They will almost always have black hair and black wings. If they can't feed on blood or poison, they will go mad until they've consumed it. Blood angels are never allowed back into heaven and will spend the rest of their lives in the mortal realm (Can be earth or any other planet/world/etc mortals live on).

Sometimes a blood angel has white wings. If an angel or a person is caught in between a murder case or if they were forced to kill someone or something, they will have falsely became a blood angel. (Similar reasons to the two examples have also caused angels to become 'false' blood angels). The result of this is the light colored hair or wings on a blood angel. These blood angels are not cursed with pain but are still banished to the mortal realm.

These two scenarios are how 'original' or '1st generation' blood angels are made. All other blood angels were born as blood angels and do not suffer any curses and are more immune to holy objects/people/etc. They however, are still punished like their ancestors and will forever live in the mortal realm.

A blood angel’s saliva is the same color as their blood (But more translucent). Spitting is a skill most blood angel’s pick up on fairly quick. Their saliva is also poisonous. The poison is strong enough to kill bugs and small creatures. Blood angel saliva on bigger creatures will cause their limbs(where the spit hit) to go numb for many weeks and can sometimes spread to other parts of the body. (However, some humanoids can grow immune to the saliva, ie from kissing, etc)

Both female and Male blood angels can reproduce with any species with a humanoid form(Human, kemonomimi, anthro or even other original species). They do however, favor in breeding within their own species to be with their lover for a longer period of time. Because they are essentially immortal, they will have to find new lovers if their previous one dies of old age (In the case of a blood angel becoming lovers with a human, etc).

Blood angels have very strong DNA. Many of their traits will get passed on to their offspring (In the case of a crossbreed.) If a blood angel where to have a child with another species, their child would inherit the wing and eye trait if nothing else.

Because females are rare within the species, they are naturally picky when it comes to dating or finding a lover. Males are usually less picky, but there are always some instances where they aren't.
