A quote from the old live-action Batman TV series, I kinda think it suits Harley Quinn just a little bit more.

I wasn't particularly happy with how I drew Harley in my last drawing alongside Poison Ivy and the giant plant, granted it was my first time drawing the crazy character so perhaps I could be forgiven. However, every single time I returned to look at the drawing I couldn't help but cringe a bit at her design. I mean, I don't think I did a terrible job drawing her but her personality seem to be missing, she looked in a way, a little hollow.

So when I decided to design new icons for my different gallery folders I took the chance to redrew Harley to see if I could do a little better a second time around. For this picture I reshaped her head to look more heart-shaped and gave her a more maverick and devilish expression with her eyes squinting and had her showing her slightly (and probably exaggerated) sharpened teeth in her big smile. While doing a bit more research on the original design I found a brilliant character sheet by Bruce Timm himself and kept to it as much as I could while at the same time trying to retain my own drawing style so it didn't end up being something like a copy.

When I had finally finished (this is had taken me a day longer than I expected), I felt a lot better about the result and am very happy to submit it my gallery. Plus I had a ton of fun too, I'm going to keep to this design of her as much as I can in the future ...
