ACK! This took me a long time X_X.

This is my first actual drawing of Roz (her full name is Rosalind), a half bat demon from my Demon Story novel.

Her wings are permanent extensions of her body and are usable for flight, but because they're non-retractable she has to modify her clothes around them. Which is difficult since the frames of the wings start at her shoulder blades and the wing skin extends from there to about the top of her hip.

But she can also wrap her wings around her when she's not using them (think Gargoyle style), so they aren't always in the way.

She's 17 and one of the few people Zeev is close to. Within the Rebel Group, she's almost like the alpha female, since she helps cook, goes on missions, and since she is one of the only half-demons with sewing skills, she kind of makes clothes for everyone.

She's also really close to Kalulu, who sees her as both a sister and a motherly figure.

She is also the only known person who can keep Zeev in line. Her temperament is almost the exact opposite of his (he gets angry very easily, she takes a while to build up rage before ultimately exploding).

She has a lot of scars on her wing skin because she used to be a slave to numerous high ranking demons throughout her childhood. Her wings were seen as a problem because they could be used as a means of escape, but her owners couldn't cripple her because then her use would drop to 0 and tieing/clipping the wings would be hard to do cuz she could just untie them. So the solution was to make numerous cuts with a knife or other sharp objects in the wing skin so that the wings were in a constant state of healing and thus couldn't be used for any immediate flight.

I'm rather proud of the color I managed to get for her hair =3.
