Description My dog and little brother of 13 years died on Monday. He was 14 years old and went peacefully, but it still kind of hurts...

He was the most precious puppy dog in the whole world. My first real and only pet, and so human that even til his last day we treated him like one.

He was in my life so long that I'm not really sure how to adjust to him not being here. But I'll get there eventually...

For now, this is my tribute of sorts to him and his memory. I loved him to bits and even if I was horrible as a kid, I did my best to be a good big sister. So at least he went happy and loved, I hope.

I know what its like to lose your best friend. I had a beagle-bulldog mix named Sophie. She was a fat dog but she was very friendly and knew how to cheer you up if you were having a bad day. She lived to be 14 years and we had her for 7. She had cancer and arthritis bad and had to be put to sleep; at least she die doing what she loved: sleeping.

Anyway just remember that he is watching over you and still love you.

Aww ;w;.

Thanks ;A;.

Yeah, mine enjoyed sleeping too. He'd always come be with me in my room and all he did was sleep, XDD. But him being there was a comfort.

Thank you for the kind words .

No problem :3

I miss my little Sophie, even if she was a coward with little dogs. And cats. And vets. And the mail man. And nail clippers. I still keep the collar as a memento.

Haha, mine used to be afraid of a lot of things in the first few years we had him. He was a rescue and the people who previously owned him abused him.

So he was afraid of anything that was long and stick-like (like brooms, yard sticks, etc) and would start growling and barking whenever we took out something like that for a different purpose and he did that until he finally learned that we weren't going to hit him with them.

He was also deathly afraid of thunderstorms and he always shook violently and tried to climb on our heads whenever something as small as lightning began flashing. He calmed down from that eventually, but even til his last day he'd still sometimes shake. We believe his previous owners must've forced him to stay outside during thunderstorms or something.

We have his collars and ashes ;w;.

I can't believe how people can be so cruel to animals. I cannot stand people like that. You did a good job getting him away from them and i'm sure he would thank you for it.

I hope the two cats we have right now never have to worry about that.

Same .

I remember when we got hime originally, he was REALLY unkempt. His fur was matty and dirty and long. He looked more like a shaggy dog than a Bichon is supposed to look. So his previous owners were really horrible.

Aw, I'm sure they won't ;w;.

<3333 Let me know if you need someone to talk to - I've been through this more times than I can count since I've got so many pets. I am so, so sorry - I know how hard it is to lose a beloved friend. <3

Thank you ;w;. I am feeling a little better than I was earlier this week, but I'm still a little sad...I'll be ok, though.
