Today is horror day, even though it should've been in October, right? Anyway, hope you'll like it.

Question of the Day: What was your favorite horror movie/Horror anime?

"Rachel... Rachel... Oh god, not Angels of Death..."

"What? I thought you liked horror."

"I do like horror, but I'm more of a fan of atmospheric horror, where you create the tingling sensation with the dreadful feeling, the uncertainty, and as the name suggests, the atmosphere, not with bloodshed and clinical insanity."

"Ah, right, you did say that once. But what's wrong with Angels of Death? I thought it was a decent show."

"Yeah it was decent, though unnecessarily dark, and twisted in my opinion. Like you'd think that the girl who is basically the focus character of it all is the one suffering the terror she goes through. But in truth she has a death wish. That is not daijobu, in the words of one of my favorite youtubers."

"I guess yeah, she's kind of a lost cause. But some anime MCs are like that."

"Yeah, I know the real problem is more about people being too carried away with their love for this anime. Like when you see people dress their kids up as Rachel just to be able to pull the cosplay off with the male MC. It's a little disturbing to be honest. I'm fine if a grown woman, or at the very least a girl in their late teens dresses up while going solo, but the poor kid doesn't even know who these people are, and it's not for their eyes either."

"Okay, you're right about that. You always seem to have such a good argument for everything. How do you do that?"

"I'm always thinking from a writer's point of view, that's all."

"Point taken. You know,m while we're atthe athmospheric part, what's your favorite out of those?"

"Anime or otherwise?"

"Why not both?"

"Okay, so in terms of regular movies, it's the Blair Witch. I was like ten years old when I first saw it, and still is the most bone chilling horror I've ever seen. As for anime, there is no atmospheric horror like Gakkougurashi."

"You mean School-live? Holy cow, you're right. That first episode left me speechless."

"I know, right? Like there are times when the anime outdoes the manga by a lot. The creators at Lerche did a phenomenal job adding their own touch to the story."

"Yeah. A shame they didn't continue. I had to read the manga to know what became of the girls in the end."

"Yep, thus the reason why I translated it to my mother language."
