I've looked through many Deathclaw videos and pics, and learned that they're supposed to be mutated chameleons. I don't like this, however, because the Deathclaws look nothing like chameleons. They don't even have the ability to blend into their environment. So I drew my own idea for what Deathclaws should look like: bipedal chameleons that can ambush their prey with their color-changing abilities. These Deathclaws would come in many different colors, and would live in many different environments, including deserts, forests, and mountain ranges. They could also snare their prey from a distance with their tongues, and would fight pretty much the same way in close combat as the actual Deathclaws do.
