I really like the shading. That was the first thing I noticed when I saw this, the contrast between dark and light was well done.
You could be a little more consistent with the lighting though. The shade and lighting don't quite match up, some spots make it look like there's a single light source and other spots make it look like multiple.
Otherwise I have no complaints and really that's just a minor thing, I only really noticed it because I was focused on the shading.

I think the shading might not match up because I was experimenting different brush textures~ Otherwise I'm happy you liked the shading~ I wanted it to be eye catching and I guess it worked!

It looks quite nice. I'm glad you were experimenting, too many get comfortable in what they're doing. 
It was very eye catching, the blue you used for the lighting was nice. You could have splashed a little in the blonde guys hair. I don't know his name 
Remember, the color of the lighting does give a slight tint to it's environment.

I guess the lighting might not show as much on demyx's hair (the blond's name xD) Since I used this mode that you can have access on paint tool sai that make certain layers have a slight glow or shade~

Ahh.. I didn't know sai had that. There's a lot of things I still don't know about sai and I've been using it over a year now lol. I don't fiddle around with that kind of stuff very often. It took me a year to even start playing with textures.

I couldn't imagine trying to draw without my tablet. It's so much better than pencil and paper for me, so much easier to correct mistakes and to properly shade. I could never go back.
Before sai I had gimpshop and before that I have photoshop elements 7, which believe me is not as great as it sounds.

That was photoshop elements, not photoshop. It was definitely more for something like digital scrapbooking. It was so sucky and you couldn't save any colors or palettes so drawing the same character time and time again was so difficult.

Ah okay!xD Its because I had seen photoshop for sale at a local store but I think there was a version called lightroom so I suppose its not actually photoshop like say Photoshop CS6.

You're probably right on that. It definitely did not live up to my expectations. Granted this was 7 years ago and it came free with my tablet so who knows, photoshop could've sucked back then for all I know.
