Don't worry about what some people think of Kagome. Most people like her and understand her character. Same goes for Misty. Some people don't like her but most do. What matters is how you feel about Kagome.

No one should blame the creator. She is a great author and she created something truly amazing. I loved all of the characters and don't hate any of them. People have their opinions but we shouldn't let them get to us.

Indeed she does, but making her characters (especially the female leads) shallow and unlikable is what it bugs me. Not to mention the toxic relationship of her couples.

What about Shinobu for being a violent psychopath or Ataru's parents for being a couple of uncaring assholes from Urusei Yatsura ? Genma for being a trouble making ruffian, Soun for being a melodramatic crybaby, Nabiki for being a backstabbing sleaze, Kodachi for being a murderous primadona with her laugh that makes your ears bleed or Akane for being stuck up jackass from Ranma 1/2 ? Kikyo for being horribly blind of vengeance, Ayumi, Yuka & Eri for being a group of meddlesome matchmakers, Sesshomaru for being an emotionless racist or Kouga for being an unforgiven murderer from InuYasha ?
