After seeing the official picture of Brock and Misty coming back in Sun and Moon , I almost immediately started sketching this! I'm so excited and happy! I'm grateful for them bringing Brock and Misty back even if it's just for a little while. Ash hasn't seen his best friends in a long time. It's about time they come together again ^w^

I'm pretty sure we are definitely going to be getting something very big with Misty, considering that not only was her reappearance alongside that of Brock outright teased with that Televi-Kun scan in a very blatant manner, but we've also got at least two teaser screencaps of Misty, one of which is with Ash and Brock which you can find on Serebii.net's title announcements, and the other... well, see for yourself . This is definitely a whole lot more than what various other reappearances from various characters, including Misty herself, ever got with the main series, even WITH Chronicles.
But let's wait and see overall.

Hopefully, Misty's taken some classes and become less violent. Being a smartass is okay, but being physically violent...
Especially don't need that kind of violence since Ash gets physically assaulted by the writers EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE.

Why do you always post negative things about Misty on Kisara's drawings? It's annoying and rude. You're only argument is that she was "violent" but have you not paid attention to the original series at all? Misty was mean to Ash but he was also mean to her yet you complain about Misty being the "violent" one. They were BOTH mean to each other and after a while they grew up and became best friends. Stop trying to push so much fake negativity onto a good character. Ash isn't a saint. He's been a jerk to other people too. Misty just got annoyed when Ash would do stupid things. He would say mean things to her like that she doesn't look like a girl or she isn't pretty. They are kids. They will do stupid things from time to time like be mean to their friends for no real reason.

1) Last time I commented on a Kisara pic was a forever ago. "Always" is an exaggeration.
2) I'm just voicing some hopes I have. That's all.
3) Ash never physically assaulted her, though. That's the point. They both shot insults to each other. They were both little shits. But Misty actually got physical. On multiple occasions. And with blunt objects. She could have just shot insults back at him. But no.

I get where Princessofkalos is coming from and I get where you are coming from but these are anime characters we are talking about who both happen to be kids. No one should be arguing over this or taking it too seriously. Let's just not argue over who was more mean or whatever. They were both equally to blame. Now they are best friends and anything about one of them being violent isn't even valid anymore because that's not even their personality anymore. I just don't get why it keeps being brought up. Misty was a jerk in the beginning and so was Ash. Now they are different people who don't even act that way anymore.
Let's all just move on....please lol

Yeah, fully agreed. This is definitely not the place to bash Misty or to argue anyways. And besides, even back then, she's at least better than Naru Narusegawa and the other Hinata Inn residents from Love Hina (if anything, she would have been genuinely disgusted with them).
I'm just glad that Misty's coming back and potentially also going back to her Water Pokémon Master goal now. After how crappily they treated her since GCYL, I've looked forward to the day that Misty actually is allowed to pursue her dream again, and not have to worry about being dragged back to the gym to essentially act as a punching bag, especially after the rather horrendous treatment of the Hoenn Gym Leaders. And with her reappearance in Sun and Moon, we may get that chance very soon of her actually going back to her goal. It's actually pretty similar to Charizard, if you think about it.

I'm definitely glad that Misty is coming back (Brock too, to a certain extent). Let's hope that this time, she comes back permanently, or barring that, she at least is allowed to pursue her Water Pokémon Master goal again and not forced back into the gym.
I'm planning to do a commemorative drawing for it as well (namely Misty, especially when she deserves a return far more than anyone else). However, I need to wait until I get more intel. The last thing I want is to jump the gun and say she's definitely coming back permanently or think she'll continue her Water Pokémon Master goal when she isn't. Funnily enough, I also will probably be drawing it around the same time I release another commemorative image for Metroid: Samus Returns featuring Misty and Togepi as Samus and Baby, respectively when it's released.

I would like to see Serena again too. It's only considered canon when both parties admit their feelings for one another. We just got Serena confession, not Ash's confession. Once he admits his feelings, it will be canon
It's the same with Pokeshipping. Its been hinted that Ash and Misty like each other but neither one of them have admitted it. So it's not canon yet.
