I think they kinda do the same thing with all the companions. Make them annoying, emotionless, a bit nasty, etc. and then slowly without you realizing it, you realize they weren't really that way but then it's too late and you have to say goodbye...

This good bye would have been heart-wrenching in Skyword Sword. Nintendo knows how to tug at people's emotions, but if they were more blatant with it, such as the scene in the picture, they would have to raise the rating of the game. This Fi's goodbye would beat out any farewell inΒ Zelda history. Fi is my only favorite companion and if thisΒ scene was inΒ Skyward Sword, this would be a milestone for years to come.Β Β

Aww thank you n_n Yeah, I have always loved Fi. She is very helpful despite what others say about her and I was really sad when she had to go to sleep in the sword at the end.

Likewise. However, though Fi is quiescent within the Master Sword for eternity, she is always there, waiting to be wielded by the next hero. Fi will always be my favorite Zelda companion, and Agitha will always be my favorite NPC, minus Hyrule Warriors, which is very fantastic game.
