The Week of Kin was always a time of community and charity for the Karlssons. Despite being away from the homely air of Valsk, the tradition still continues to thrive.

On the Fourth Day, Kairi made her gifting rounds to the old alchemist's house. Bearing a bag of his favourite tea, the two shared a quiet afternoon enjoying the simple pleasure of one another's company. Without this man, she would never have been so successful in her relocation to Song-Lu.

On the Fifth Day, the two siblings collectively recall old memories of the snowy streets of home - childhood days where worries were far away. Their parents are in the picture too, though not as strongly as the times spent between a tall young girl and a tiny boy.

On the Seventh Day, Seth found work at the Geist farm. Yamben are hard work, but at the end of the day the act of kindness seemed to cover the hole in his homesick heart. Perhaps after this he will feel even more like Cantor is where he must be. And perhaps this was the start of another friendship.

Been a while since I got to actually do a prompt, let alone hand it in on time wHEEZES

The two of them definitely had people to visit and see during the first few days, but these were the ones that stuck out for them to me.

I've yet to design the alchemist so that's why he's a blank figure haha...

Other activities of this week include sending letters to Naevys for Seth, since she's not in Cantor at present and Kairi doing more charity work with the Peacekeepers.
