I am taking an anthropology course in which we have discussed creation stories from various cultures. I could imagine this fitting in quite nicely to a story of a colorless world, into which color and beauty are introduced. For me the title makes the piece far more interesting than it would be by itself (which is not to say the piece is uninteresting, it only enhances it).
