Well the thing is what I can't help thinking about, is that Sonic grew up in a loving family for the short time he had them before they were robotisized, that means that Scourge had the opposite, a family that never cared about him. I think he would have wanted love but because he never got any he would shut those feelings deep within his heart, and he would be more cruel and such.
But the comics do mention that if Sonic were to have one bad day he would end up like Scourge, which also means the same could be said for Scourge, one good day and he could have a almost total change of heart.
With the whole, "You can never take my crown" I would imagine that would mean he would never fully give up control of Anti-Mobius.
And the whole crushing everything he touches, well I guess that could be symbolic for he only knows how to hurt others, or get hurt himself.
But I think if Amy were to talk to Scourge like she did with Shadow she might plant a seed in Scourges chest.
Yeah theres a whole bunch more fanon in my head I have for that ship. But I think I will just leave it at that for the moment unless you really want to hear all my random fanon thoughts.
