Internet keeps going off and on(had a huge storm), so I'd better make this quick.The characters are Kitty Pryde(ShadowCat) and Lance Alvers(Avalanche) from X-men Evolution. I've been going through an X-men phase, lately. Saw the trilogy up at Wal-mart for $10 with a collector's box and couldn't resist, bought the first two collectors box for the original 90s cartoon, bought one of the evo volumes so far, but I've been re watching it on toon disney.
This was just a quicky that I sketched up on a random piece of printer paper when I was waiting for Evolution to come on. I never thought I'd actually color it, so this makes my first fan art to be colored completely with prismacolor pencils. x3
Anywho, Will he or won't he kiss her? That is the question. XD (I vote for 'he won't', at least not yet. It would be after he's teased by Boom Boom, Toad and Blob about being afraid of a little kiss. XP Sorry Lancey, you just can't win. >

I love seeing X-Men fanart, especially Evolution! I go through random phases of being obsessed with it, lol. I've even created my own character X3 I've only drawn small sketches of her though, but she's cool and I'm proud of her ^^ You should do it too!

I'm going through a really bad obsession phase right now. >.< Evolution is probably my favorite of the series', too, and I like most of the characters more in it(with the exception of Jubilee and Gambit... and maybe another I'm not thinking of right now. =/ ).

lol, I really wanna watch more of the series myself. I think its so awesome. I like the movies a lot but I agree, Evolution is my favorite! XD I love seeing all of the different powers.
Yeah, I'll try and draw a picture of her. She needs redone cause I havent drawn her in YEARS! lol. That would be awesome! I would love to do a collab or trade or something!

I just got to watch the last season this summer since they've been replaying it(Disney XD, I think). It was great! *o* I know I'll be buying all that's out right now, but I really wish they would release the last season on DVD. ;-; (I'm such a nerd... O.O;; ).
The order, for me, in terms of favorites is probably X-men Evo, X-men 90's version *GAMBIT!! <3*, then the movies. I can't really say just yet about Wolverine and the X-men since I haven't seen much of it, but it makes Nightcrawler x Scarlet Witch cute. O///O

I think I created an X-men character by accident. When I was working on sketches for my art class, I drew a girl that really looks like a mutant and you can see the rough of her in my most recent journal topic. She's link #3. x3 If it's not already taken, I'm thinking about calling her 'Nightmare' or something like that. <3 Doing a x-over pic will be a lot of fun! ^__^

I saw a little bit of Wolverine and the X-Men the other week and actually would like to watch more. It seems really good, but as far as I know, it comes on too early in the morning! >.<

Yeah, I really want to watch more of it, too. I know they're releasing the first 13 eps in a boxset this November(if the date hasn't changed), so I'm going to ask for it for Christmas.

Me, too! <3 Though it'll probably be after Halloween since I'm planning a 'countdown' next month. <3 Well, at least 3 days from Halloween. Argh, gonna be a lot of work. (I want to do 3 detailed X-men pics. One of the 90s cartoon, one for Evolution and one for Wolverine and the X-men. <.<;; )

Oh wow! Thats awesome, I cant wait to see those pictures! ^__^ Good luck with it! Um, I watched the episode where, I think, Dr. Xavier went into the future and all of the mutants had these collar things on their necks to prevent them from using their powers. And they were all controlled by these robots(?) I'm not sure if they were robots or people in metal-robot-suits.
But I loved the mutant with firey-red hair and when she used her powers her hair was actually fire along with her whole body. She was cool

If so, I think she's only appeared in the "Thieves Gambit" episode. Did the episode you saw have Gambit in it? That episode also deals with the collar that Forge made, but it was during the present time line. I do think you see a glimpse of the future in it, though. =/ I need to rewatch that one. xD

Really? I figured he'd be one to stay in your mind since Gambit and Wolverine are the 'main' characters during that episode. Hmm, maybe Magma comes back, or there's another fire-girl. I'll keep my eyes open. x3

Hmm =/ , then I don't know what episode that is. It sounds like one I haven't seen, but I've only watched about 10 or so eps. Magma could have come back... Do you remember what she looked like in 'human' form? Was she kind of young with blond hair?
