So my friend sorta wants me to design a bigass phoenix tattoo for her, instead of picking a design out second-hand. One version I tried - pose was nice, however not feminine/inticrate enough. Also the colors failed absolutely.Prolly took about 3-4 hours total, inking, art and colors total.
NOTE: There have been a lot of inquiries recently from DA members to use this as a tattoo of their own. I'm flattered, and by all means go crazy - just please please please please please take photos to send to me.

1) I'm not sure. I don't think I have a high enough DPI copy of the image for that unfortunately.
2) It's probably a bit late, but so long as you're willing to give credit go ahead!

I'd like to do the same as well, the shape is perfect for my rib cage, but would have to be slightly altered anyways to fit my torso/hip whatever. looking at different colors and details as well.

would you mind if i sent this off to a tattoo artist to show him an example of what i want done for my next piece? I have been looking for the perfect phoenix for awhile and this comes pretty close.. i wont get it done the way you drew this one out.. i'm letting him draw his own style of phoenix but i just want to show him the general direction of where to take it.. and then i'll be sure to send you a picture of it when it's finished
