Time: 5-8 hours. I lost count.
Comments: Chocobo Labor!
This was a piece that I drew for a contest (further details, click here ) As you can see, it appears to be Chocobos chasing after Gyshal Greens (pickle carrot things) in order to keep moving, turning the wheel and getting things working. It could be any kind of labor involving a wheel/treadmill system like uh, flour mill for one.
The theme was alternate source of energy (like electricity) either real or made up. BACK IN THE DAY before electricity, people used water, and wind, and LIVESTOCK to get things done. So, since it was fanart or original work, I did fanart, of Chocobos. The Moogle is supervising So yeah, I figured, there's a lot of energy in the world, and I live near farms and animals are still used to help out when possible because it's so much more convenient than machines lots of times.

All in all, I had loads of fun with this one!
