I recommend reading it though, it's awesome.
Well being a Homestuck fan, from what I know Caliginous in Homestuck means a relationship between (mostly)trolls.
To be more specific, it's the "hate" relation. between two people.
In fact, there are 4 types of relation. of trolls, and they're called "Quadrants".
