Agh I've been meaning to design this guy to go with my fan-story of Ahadi and Uru! I've been meaning to give Ahadi a slight redesign soon as well, so he's next up!

Kiburi is the father of Taka/Scar and mate to Uru, the queen of the pridelands. He is very friendly, upbeat and cheerful.

He leads a neighbouring pride to the royal family and met Uru while on a border patrol. They became very close friends and eventually fell in love.
Uru already had a son, Mufasa, with the King, Ahadi who she had been betrothed to as a cub and taken on her royal duties by his side-who, though great friends, she never harbored any romantic feelings towards.

Upon learning of Uru and Kiburi's love, Ahadi allowed them to have a cub-Taka, and was proud to declare him second in line to the throne, taking the cub under his own wing and preparing him to be the new leader of the Lion Guard, along with other cubs from both the royal pride and Kiburi's.

Kiburi made frequent visits to the royal pride to visit Taka and Uru, and became as close as a brother to Ahadi.

After the prophecy of Taka was revealed and Uru had fled, Kiburi was heartbroken and did as much as he could to help Ahadi, sticking around despite being nervous about the prophecy. Though when Taka began displaying worrying signs, a saddened Kiburi left the royal pride for his own safety, as instructed by Ahadi, and was eventually driven out alongside his own pride during Scars rein.
