It was a wolf name generator based on the first letter of your first and last name; and the results could be something like "Night Song" or stuff like that.
kitchiki got "Moon Moon" and she was so distressed that she would be the dumbest wolf in a pack xD
Because of this, a meme was started and usually featured a picture of a derpy wolf, which became quite popular for a while.
