YooooI've been trying to design this woman for AGES and I'm finally satisfied with her design!
This is The Matriarch (her name is Malkia but she's rarely referred to by her true name)
She is Tukanas mother and she's very proud of her daughter. criticize Tukana in any way and she'll have your head :'D
I've been posting a lot of character concepts for this future graphic novel over on twitter but I loved this one so much I decided to share!
(BEFORE anyone gets picky-I'm aware striped hyenas aren't matriarchal! This is relevant to the story!)

yes! Spotted yeens are! Striped hyenas tend to be solitary so don't really form large groups!
