Description

This was drawn during a particularly stressful period last year, over many weeks. I guess I'm rusty on these. This previous construction pic was one of my more popular early images, and it was a good candidate for a re-do. (Plus construction workers are apparently in my top three favorite targets). But, I instead chose to do a completely different tact, hence not re-using the background like I did for other reduxes. And frankly, this is closer to what I envisioned originally based on my tastes. As much as logic is, um, glossed over in most of my pics, construction workers wear boots, for good reason. So, 100% upper body it is.

So once again, my thought was these guys are violating quiet hours, and needed to be silenced somehow by annoyed neighbors, hence I did make it look less like broad daylight.

Also, I concluded I really like shirts that leave body parts wide open, possibly as much as actually being shirtless...the reason I don't draw that as often is it somehow became "gay" for a guy to wear anything less than a t-shirt sometime the past two decades, it seems. But here, I welcomed the chance to make the guys mostly fully clothed, and have their tormentors being the ones to alter the clothing to a useful state, if necessary. One of the best things about construction workers is their arms are usually occupied by heavy things, so this is pretty easy!
