Description
As the title says, a commission forIt was pretty fun. I like it when people want me to do something I haven't really done before. I've never done an underwater picture that wasn't utter retardity incarnate, and I don't think this one came out too bad.
This is his character Elana, and no, I didn't forget her tail thank you very much if you don't mind kindly. She doesn't have one.
Anyway, hope you like it!

I like this picture, I think it's because of the sun trying to shine through the ocean waves; it's relaxing as well as calming :3. Elena stands out on her own as well as the theme that surrounds the picture. Wonderful work Kitfox

Extremely good! The lighting is excellent, the anatomy is pretty much perfect, and you've given a surprising amount of detail to the scuba-gear. I don't normally see artists pay attention to stuff like that.

Too cold? or.. jellyfish or something? I know I was .. near Canberra when I visited there... never got to really swim in the water too much but I do remember the sort of amazing water the ocean had there. Way cooler than anywhere else I've been.
