The theories are easy to understand. In practice though, unless you want to be very boring about it, time travel doesn't really make sense in the way most people use it as a story device.

There is one thing to help with that: copious amounts of flashbacks! Just spend half of your pages on exposition and recaps, so everybody will be on the same, well, page. If shonen anime can do this, so can you!

In my opinion it does not seem bad to read a whole page of information, as it is related to history. Although it is very rare to see in a comic a page of only text.

That was a big mistake on my part CX
There is one comic I can think of that did that, which was called Earth X, but those huge pages of text came at the end, and were semi-optional, so that's nowhere near as bad as what I did ^^'

Although they are optional pages of pure text, the important thing is that they are part of the plot of history in question. Maybe it's not right, put it in the middle of the pages, but it does not seem so bad. In my opinion.
