thank you so much Brandi. it is soooo nice when i can get feed back on what i do. that is a great idea on the dragon using a liquify tool to make the snout more pointed. going to have to try that. i usually stay away from that tool because it tends to blur to much. maybe instead of the liquify tool i will just duplicate the snout and then use the transform tool it will blur less. thanks for the idea. this was my second try at dragons.

you are most welcome !.Liquify can be a bit scary to use sometimes. Indeed the liquify tool can make for some blur , but if you make very small adjustments , slowly and carefully , it can be a tremendous tool . ( I use it ALOT !)

Well, it's a difficult one. Basically, I think you should always do what YOU think is best - i.e. if you're happy with the background, you should leave it the way it is.

Im loving the colours and how smooth and flawless the picture looks. Has a nice wintery feel to it.
The only the little criticisim Im going to make is the dragon should be a bit more sharper, less blured.

thanks Maureen. i was trying for the camera close up and blur background. you know like if you take a close up picture on the subject and everything else get blurry. anyway it was worth the try hahaha.

You have really got the dragon thing going on!!! The colours, tones and textures are beautifully blended and the lighting is perfect. If I HAD to make one observation, it would be that I think the tip of the model's nose is a little too orange - but you really have to look closely and study the image to even notice.
